Training and Consulting at Disability Policy Consortium

Providing disability focused training, support, and perspectives to promote and advance disability inclusion.

Despite being a one of United States’ largest and most disenfranchised minority populations, the perspectives and needs of disabled people are often overlooked or excluded. But true Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion cannot be achieved without incorporating our crucial viewpoints. Led by disabled voices, we offer training, consulting, and technical assistance to bring a disability lens to workplaces, DEI initiatives, projects, and services from healthcare, to housing, to arts and culture programming.

Located in Downtown Boston, Disability Policy Consortium is a crucial part of the disability community with a long history of grassroots advocacy, community-based research, and policy innovation. Offering training and consulting services has been a long-time goal and we are pleased to launch this initiative.

We offer unique and customizable trainings on disability topics created and presented by disabled people. Going beyond ADA compliance, our trainings approach disability as a distinct minority group with an emphasis on shared history and civil rights.

Workplace Inclusion Consulting

Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience in making workplaces inclusive for the disability community. We offer consulting services to help workplaces make meaningful change to foster welcoming environments.

Technical Assistance

DPC has a long history of providing technical assistance to projects all over the country. Our experts can review plans, provide trainings, hold office hours, attend meetings, and a number of other services to ensure your project considers the disability community at every stage.

Consumer Voice

Our network of lived experience experts are available for advising on discrete projects or representation on advisory boards and similar bodies to provide the perspective of disabled consumer voices.
